Welcome to the official home page of The Dagorhir realm of Rochdór!
Updated: 03/02/2009
Dagorhir is a full contact medieval combat organization that uses foam padded weapons or boffers. Participants assume the role of a persona that could have lived in pre-firearms history or fantasy, dress in the period and culture's clothing and meet on the battlefield for combat.
Dagorhir combines aspects of both the dark ages and the fantasy of Tolkien's Middle Earth in a safe and action-packed foam-fighting game.
The Dagorhir realm of Rochdor was formed in the Spring of 2008 as one of the many chapters of Dagorhir Battlegames that stretch across the nation. "Rochdor" is from Tolkien's Sindarin Elvish language meaning "Horse land" named for that which Kentucky is most famous for.

About the Realm: Rochdór is known primarily for the excellent horses it produces. It is also known for it's excellent pipeweed and whiskey. The south eastern portion is dominated by the barbaric highlanders, savage hillfolk who thrive on combat. The western plains is prime horse land as well as producing much of the realm's agriculture. There is a large dwarven population to the southwest as well as a sizeable outpost in the north east. Elves populate the forests to the south.
