Ermac and Liu Kang are succesful in freeing Kitana and the other Earth heroes. Afterward, as she travels back to Edenia, she encounters Blaze, who worns her of a coming new danger that will threaten all the realms. Weary of constant battle, Kitana is dishearted, but Blaze assures her that the wars will soon be over. Following this warning, Kitana returns in Mortal Kombat Armageddon, Fighting along side Edenia.
During the events, she was accompanied by Liu Kang's spirit morder to keep him whole untile there was away to reunite him with his body. They later met up wit Nightwolf, who was drained from using his Shamaic power to draw Onaga's souls into the Netherealm, and offered to relieve Kitana of her burden by using what magic he had left and took on the responsibillity of Looking after Liu Kang. Therefore, Lui Kang and Kitana parted ways once again. In her Armageddon ending, Kitana defeats Blaze and become the champion of the Elder God. She goes onto form an all female fighting forces consisting of herself, Sindel, Jade, Sonya and Li Mei. They set to defeat the forces of Darkness and trap them in the Netherealm forever.
