| Another planet now part of this congress is the world called Harrakohr, the home world of Dragonkind. Dragons are intelligent beings, with a history, culture, custom, and faith of their own. They became All Elfin's chief allies when a String - connected world's people Fell and they attempted to invade and conquer All Elfin. (See the Troll War Chronicles on our members-only loop). Elfin reside on Harrakohr as Dragons do on All Elfin. The two peoples have been close for uncounted millennia. Earth's people are as yet largely unaware of the existence of these other worlds. Tales of sightings in the past have degenerated to folklore and mythology on Earth. This is partly due to the shorter lifespans of mortals and partly due to their Fallen estate which tends to make the UNfallen races wary of more frequent interaction. (see again the Troll War Chronicles. We don't need but one lesson.) Elfin boasts some of the greatest geneticists in the Galaxy. Elfin genetic engineers can, with permission from HWI, facilitate the fertility of cross-species matings, providing viable offspring for the couples who wish them. Couples desirous of this service must journey to All Elfin and to the Temple of HWI, to be accepted by Him as parents. Elfin derive their abilities directly from HWI. The infinite Power has plenty to spare for His UNfallen children and His dearest wish is for the Fallen peoples to grow to that estate as well. To that end, He Himself deigns to come among their worlds AS one of them, offering them the way to regain their original state of being. Earth is one such world. Elfin do not know how vampires and shapeshifters came to be, but as long as they are gentlebeings they may visit All Elfin. |
