Gimped!
Got my x-rays today and it turns out that I broke my ankle (my tibula to be exact, although
that would be more like breaking my leg and not my ankle???) falling off the side of Timp.
You know what this means? Everybody really needs to suck up to me and give me lots of stuff
because I don't feel well! haha just kidding. Anyway, I still feel okay so call me if anyone feels
like goofing off or something. Oh yeah, somebody take me to go see Star Wars!!! Jerks
--PS-- Today was kind of sad because I went through my email address book and deleted everybody
that I don't talk to anymore. So sad because I seriously deleted over half of my contacts. I need to
work on talking to my friends more often! Actually, I don't feel terrible about some of them because they
were just fakes that really had no intention of being my friend. Anyway, if you think I don't email or call you
enough then let me know because that is really important to me that you care ;)

Mount Timp's Revenge
Hiked Mount Timp over the weekend. Lots of snow still up there, enough
to build a snow cave to sleep in. Anyway, great time learning how to use
crampons and ice axes and there was lots of hiking to be done and I am still waiting
for pics. Bad news- The snow got soft later into our second day and I slid down
a glacier and got a little smashed up on a cliff edge jutting out of the snow. It was
a little embarassing having to be lowered down the rest of the glacier on a rope
lol. Hiked the three miles back okay and am sitting in front of my conputer icing my
ankle :) .

Have fun, be sore
Went hiking today. Great fun. Liz, Heather and I went to PG and hiked
the Battle Creek Trail to Grove Creek Trail Loop. It was a little chilly but
still a beautiful day. The trail was beautiful and I may even go up in a few weeks
to go spend the night. In one of the meadows a curious white fox ran towards us
and stopped about 30 yards away from us and then turned its tail and bolted. We also saw
at least 4 deer and there were a lot of cool birds in the bushes too. I think that the real
name of the loop is Grove Creek to Battle Creek because everybody else we met was heading in the
opposite direction... I got frustrated because I seemed to get pretty muddy while the twins
managed to stay spotless. I think that I sink in the mud and they don't. There was
also a lot more water than normal and the waterfall was just pounding away when we got there.
A few of the bridges were under water too so we had to cross some slippery logs. I almost
faceplanted into a spot of stinging nettle trying to get across one section of the creek. That could
have sucked...Anyway, very fun day yesterday, and pretty sore day today.
Note to myself- Go see Star Wars! It has been out for two weeks. I am such a procrastinator.
