I love commercials
I watch them all the time
They offer lots of pointless stuff
And many of them rhyme
Some of them are aimed at kids
Selling fizzy drinks
Other ads are aimed at mothers
Trying to sell sinks
Others still are aimed at dads
Like power drills and saws
And ads selling adult diapers
Are aimed at grandmas and grandpas
Some have catchy slogans
Like "They're great!" or "Do the Dew"
Others are annoying,
And you're thankful when they're through
The best commercials make you laugh
With puns and stupid jokes
(If Pepsi isn't funny, then we'll all reach for the Cokes)
But what I hate the most
Though I must say it's amusing
Is a pointless, dumb commercial
That is really quite confusing
This one commercial that I saw
Thanked everybody's mothers
For making us our dinners
Along with our sisters and brothers
It said "Thanks Mom" for waking us up
And getting us on our way
But the really weird thing was
What they were advertising for that day
The end of the commercial
Made the whole thing just come loose
It said "Here's to you, Mom"
"Drink Florida Orange Juice"!
