Aren't we all neurotic? It's just a matter of when and for how long.
Merriam-Webster's definition of neurotic is: "one affected with a neurosis" and "an emotionally unstable individual"
I think every person is neurotic for at least once during their life. There are many things that affect our emotions and many events that bring these emotions to become unstable for a moment. If we think of neurosis like this, then maybe we will be better able to handle small instances of it in our own lives. Plus, we will have more sensitivity to people whose neurosis is bigger than our own. Like with any stumbling block in our lives, we can look at the situation with hope and positivity.
