Playing Badminton
Cliff, Leah, Colby, Wray, Hiroshi and I played badminton in our backyard. We don't have a net so we tied rope in between two posts. Our game was mostly civilized... Except Colby kept on trying to hit the birdie into the basketball hoop and instead, the birdie would go on top of the roof of the garage. The first time he did that it was no big deal because we used the second birdie we had. But when he got our second birdie stuck on the roof, Wray decided to take matters into his own hands. Wray climbed on top of the roof and tossed the birdie down to us. But now he was stuck on the roof. We didn't have a ladder and he was afraid to jump down. At one point, he was half way hanging off the roof. We were laughing so hard. Finally, Wray just took a deep breath and with all of us just staring and laughing, he decided to risk jumping off. Fortunately, he was fine and it gave us a good laugh.... |
