family home evening

My family consists of just me, my husband, and our pet dog.  Many families without kids they are exempt from holding Family Home Evenings, but that's a wrong assumption.
My husband and I like to team up with other couples for FHE.  We take turns hosting.  We also make up a chart to take turns with different assignments.  It has always been really fun.  Not only are we following the counsel of our Church leaders, but we get time to socialize with friends!
Our lessons are short and usually are about relevant things in the time of life we are in.  Some examples are: roles in marriages, temporal welfare (budgeting, food storage, etc), and preparing to have children.
If you're like my family and not having FHE because you don't have kids, you may consider to do what we do.
Below I have some links to relevant information.  A lot of it is geared towards families with kids, but usually you can easily adapt them to couples.
