What the hell. Big Brother 3 ended up in a 9-1 decision, favoring Lisa. What a mess. After a very strong season in terms of strategy, Big Brother 3 ended up weak. Even the announcement of winner was very monotonous. And those evicted houseguests.... don't even let me get started on them.
Lisa did not deserved to win. While it is true that she made a "wise" decision in choosing Danielle over Jason for the final 2 spot, the only reason she acted that way was because it was obvious that Jason is nice. However, Lisa did not realized that Danielle was playing the game well, even if other houseguests, notably Josh, knew even when they were still in the game that Danielle was up to something. Gerry is right... Lisa was just lucky.
Lisa's win is reminiscent of Ethan of Survivor:Africa. In that season, it was very obvious that Kim Johnson was the best player because given her situation, she was still able to make it to the final 2. It is unfortunate that eliminated players in this two game seasons wasn't able to see the players as players.
Danielle deserved to win. She was evil, that's right. But as she pointed out, if she was honest, she wouldn't even be where she is. Also, it should have been a compliment for her that she acknowledged that she lied. Lisa never said anything like that, but looking back at the game, she herself has lied. She told Chiara she wouldn't vote for her... and did she stick to that word? No.
It's funny that houseguests such as Josh and Gerry who seems like they were leaning towards voting for Danielle ended up voting for Lisa. Hopefully, the houseguests for Big Brother 4 wouldn't be discouraged to play a strategic game, following Danielle's failure to win. One thing is for sure, though. If Danielle was playing for Survivor 2 or Survivor 4, she would have won.
