First rounders will be given a $3/4 year deal, 2nd Rounders...$1/3 year deals

You can never send any NHLer to your prospects camp/farm system...you can only trade for other prospects or draft prospects from the REALITY ENTRY DRAFT...when calling up prospects you must post your transaction on the transaction board, and then the contract will be added to your salary cap....DO NOT PICK THE PROSPECT up on Yahoo until you have decided to pick up there contract

FREE AGENCY
When A Players contract expires at the end of a season, he will become a free agent. The General Manager offering the most generous contract will sign that player, although the original team will have one last chance to match that offer, if they match it, the free agent stays with his original team.

Throughout the year you can also bid on free agents that do not have a contract or that have been waived by a team, these bids last for a week, at the end of the week the highest bidder recieves that player.

WAIVERS: You can never go over 20 men on your main roster, but if you want to you can still sign free agents. You will then need to release the ammount of players on to waivers to get back to 20. You can re-sign your waived players at any given time, unless another team hasn''t already picked up that player. You can have up to 10 players on waivers at any given time.

HOW DO I PICK UP WAIVED PLAYERS?: On the Message board you will see a message stating WAIVED PLAYERS, just reply to that thread with whom your adding to your roster.

STANDINGS
There will be 4 divisions consisting of 5 teams each, and 2 conferences consisting of 10 teams each. 6 teams in each conference will make the playoffs, with the 4 division winners getting byes in the first round.

During the regular season you will earn 2 points for each category you win and 1 for each category you tie. If there is any ties in the standings or in the playoffs...the tie breaker is h2h meetings followed by Wins, then Division Record.

WHAT IF THERE's A LOCKOUT?

All contracts will be frozen.....Unless a player that has another year left on his contract and then retires, that the contract is whiped clean off your cap, if he has more then one year left your shit out of luck
