Throughout the year you can also bid on free agents that do not have a contract or that have been waived by a team, these bids last for a week, at the end of the week the highest bidder recieves that player.
***IMPORTANT***
All contracts will be frozen.....Unless a player that has another year left on his contract and then retires, that the contract is whiped clean off your cap, if he has more then one year left your shit out of luck
When drafting a Rookie you must make room for them on your original roster, if you choose not to do so you can either draft the player and waive him (hoping he's still available when you want him) or forfeit your rookie pick. Although rosters will be expanded to 14 players right before the Rookie Draft.
Every week there will be Free Agent Bidding...from Monday to Wednesday you nominate players, the rest of the week until the Saturday Midnight deadline you spend laying bids on those players. At the deadline if there are still more then 1 manager interested in that player, you will have to each submit a secret bid, with the higher bid recieving that player. The highest dollar ammount wins over the highest contract length ammount
