John: WHAT?!
Nar.: John rose to his feet and started to move towards Crytos. Calia sat stunned and silent. After a short time, she realized John was threatening Crytos. She waved a slender hand in his direction, freezing him in place. Crytos eyes widened.
Calia: What am I then?
Patrick: Wellwe dont exactly know you seewe, Lilith, Crytos, and myself, created you.
Calia: SoIm an experimental creation?
Patrick: Pretty much.
Crytos: (gesturing toward John) Howd you do that?
Calia: (distracted) Huh?
Crytos: How did you freeze him?
Calia: Ohjust something I picked up a while ago.
Nar.: Crytos poked John to see if there was any response. John didnt even flinch.
Crytos: InterestingI have a proposition that might interest you.
Patrick: What proposition?
Calia: What is it?
Crytos: Come with me to travel through Illyrium.
Patrick: But we havent finished the traveling thing.
Crytos: Ahbut dont you see what I am seeing? Shesshes beautiful!
Nar.: Calia gave him an odd look, put her hand up to her throat and played with a crystal that hung around her neck.
Crytos: Dont you see? (holding Patrick by the shoulders facing Calia)
Patrick: Nooh! I understand. UmMiss Ballard, may I see that crystal?
Nar.: Calia froze and then unlatched her necklace.
Calia: (handing it to Patrick) My mother, I mean, Lilith gave it to me
Patrick: (examining the crystal) Hmmmyes. Yes! A power crystal!
Calia: A power crystal? Whats that?
Patrick: Come, come. I must show you something.
Nar.: Patrick grabbed Calias arm and dragged her into the adjoining room, with Crytos following.
Nar.: In the center of the room, a metal construction with a number of colorful buttons and switches, stood.
Calia: Whats this?
Patrick: Its an inter-planer particle-transmitting device, or, it can be called, a transporter.
Nar.: Patrick moved around to the far side of the transporter and opened a small compartment. He placed the crystal in a small depression in the metal and closed the door. Then he flipped a switch and the machine whirred to life.
Patrick: Yes!
Nar.: Crytos inputted data into the mainframe computer a turned to Calia, who stood in awe of the complicated contraption.
Crytos: You will be comingno?
Patrick: Of course she is
Nar.: Patrick grabbed her arm and pulled her into the growing light.
Patrick: Onward to Anthrax!
Crytos: You never said you wanted to go there!
Nar.: Patrick looked at Crytos in horror as the blinding white light engulfed then sending then spiraling into oblivion.
