Heartagrambabe, I think it´s the difference between British English and American English. Where you guys say apologize, they say apologise. I think.

And then there are words like advice and advise. One is a verb and the other is a noun. I can never remember which is which!

Kezza's right. It's just like "favorite" and "favourite". I even get confused which way is the "canadian" way to spell it.

Well in America we spell it "favorite", although I like spelling things differently.

For example:

theatre > theater
coloured > colored
favourite > favorite

And so on.
