Is it true what they say about money....is it really the root to all evil...I mean...why are there so many divorces in the community today. Is money really playing a major role in why the rate on marriages ending in divorce in such a short period of time. Does the money side out weight the reason on why people get married...I'm supposing it's because of love...at least I hope it is. Does it really matter who makes the most money and does keeping your finances a secret from your spouse really make for a wise decision. If you won the lotto...would you divorce him or her because of the money then try to keep it from them....I was told that someone actually tried to do that...but it didn't work....I would truely like to know what your opion is on this matter....talk to me....

Honestly, I think that it depends on the relationship and the people involved. Some people put the monetary above ALL THINGS, and some people know that true genuine companionship and love is of the most importance. I think that if the relationship is based upon finances or dependency then that person might leave if they struck it big....I actually know a married woman who jokes about leaving her husband if she won the lotto! lol

It's important that people are financially compatible. Not everyone see's money the same way and it can cause major problems and lots of secrecy. Sigh, maybe it's also true what many women say: "My money is my money, and his money is my money"! lol --Dessa <http://www.candyacidreign.com> |
