Quick Info
Design and development of the Nakajima Ki-115 Tsurugi (sabre) marked the realism of Japan's army that an allied invasion of the home islands was daily becoming more certain, and that desperate measures would be needed if victory was to be snatched from the disaster that was overtakingthe country. Kamikaze attacks represented an important aspect of the desperate measures, and the Ki-115 was intended to provide a cheap, easy to built aircraft that could carry a bomb up to 1,764 lb weight in such attacks. A total of 104  were bult by the end of the war, but none of them were used operationally.

Variants
Ki-115a   Prototype and production version(with simple shock-absorbers) (104 built)
Ki-115b   Projected version with larger wooden wings never built
