YOUTH RECORDS
SEEKING VIDEO ARTISTS…
We are looking for anyone who is
experienced with creating video collage to work with us on videos to be
projected at live events. Think in the footsteps of Crass or old industrial
acts. NOT talking about flashing pictures/colors to make a rock band look
"cool" while a show is happening, I'm talking about imagery to push
the content we are already associated with in words/music concerning social politics,
anxiety, anti-hypothetical youth culture. If you have
any familiarity with the Realicide project you might have an idea of what I'm
talking about.
Get in touch if you know anybody who
might be able to help. Live video manipulation, potential “music videos”
depending on the idea/approach, or even help in creating DVD collections of
past events. In the case of DVD assistance we would especially be looking for
the capability of transferring many old VHS tapes to digital, then editing,
menu design, etc.
