Attn: new D.I.Y. labels…
I am looking for anyone who has been interested in releasing CDR or tapes
of Realicide or related projects. We are regularly in
need of material to distribute on tours, and invite you to work with us if you
think it would also benefit your label and your interest in our content.
I can send the WAV audio and JPEG image data per your specifications for
format, through mail or online. We prefer screenprinted
discs and double-sided xerox sleeves, but as long as
it is NOT a disc or tape with hand-written marker on it we’ll be OK. I'll
adhere to whatever your format preferences are aside from anything painful like
illegible sharpie labeling, you know? We can definitely use any of copies you'd
be able to spare, but ask that the total edition is a minimum of 50 copies. If
you have any trouble getting rid of copies over time, we can most likely buy or
trade a few more after our artist copies are gone.
A warning though: We are really into split releases, but it is NOT
alright to insert Realicide recordings into a split
without our specific permission. There have been times in the past in which we’ve
offered recordings to smaller labels, as requested, only to wind up on a tape
with a band we have never even heard of or been told about, and it is not
always automatically a good thing. Just be clear with us as to what you plan to
do with the material and these situations won’t ever come up, you know?
