My first guitar.

Kay has made some pretty cheap guitars...but those are the ones that most people start on. My brother and I started on an old presswood'50s archtop with laminated everything. The action was so high I started to play it on my lap with my thumb

Eventually we could pla y "Secret Agent Man".the intro riff of I Feel Fine"

So... nearly 40 years later

Who knew that this Kay was the start of something better?

A fifties or early sixties Kay, style 000, I immediately sold it to my brother. Can't see the cool checkerboard binding here.
