Breedlove "Olympic" Mandolin
I sold the A snakehead through Elderly for $2200. in '98.... I got change and this new Breedlove
This has a slightly thicker neck than most new mandolins.
It's a beautiful cordovan burst. With a nice woody sound!
The orig. tailpiece failed (literally)
so it was sent back to Breedlove for repair under warranty.
They put a solid cast, and better, and heavier tailpiece,
and it seems noticably louder.
Bob Smakula set it up after plugging the endpin jack hole
and installing an endpin.
I sold it summer 2006. Nice mandolin...
but I wanted an f-style oval hole...
