Scotland - A Celtic Experience
August 2004

I went to visit my good friends Flo and Brad in Glasgow where they are both studying. Glasgow is an architectually fascinating city with the essence of industrialism strongly present. Greenery fills the country and pace of life (comparatively to Los Angeles) was much more enjoyable because there is time to walk, stop and smell the roses. My friend Doriann also came and travelled with me for a couple days during this time.

Coincidentally, I arrived during the Edinburgh Festival and we were able to enjoy lots of great entertainment ranging from dance performances to stand up comedy. Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland and quite amazing. Let's just say the skyline of Edinburgh by far rivals those of any metropolitan city in the US. Square buildings aren't impressive compared to the massive castles and fortresses that stand in Edinburgh.
