Lijiang
a city in Yunnan Province
Lijiang is a gorgeous little town by the mountains that has natural
springs flowing throughout the town. It is quite unique town where
many small wooden bridges link the streets together and many of the
ancient architectures remain.
One of the most famous mountains, called Xue shan (snow mountain),
is only a few miles away and at the top, there is quite an extraordinary
view of trees, rock formations, and wateralls. It is one of the few cities
where the water is still pure and drinkable (not for long, though). It is
similar to Dali in many ways in that it is a city that thrives on tourism
and the selling of minority goods.
