Chengdu is one of the more stylish cities in China. The most famous thing about this capital of Sichuan province is, of course, the spicy foods. This is due to the fact that people need food that heat their blood during the cold winters in Sichuan Province. During the cold winter days when we were there, we tried out the many spicy dishes and they did keep us warm. The most famous specialty is the Szechuan Hot Pot (Ma La Tang). Other than the food, the city itself is quite modernized and a haven for shoppers.
