Sitting on the eggs...
Shutter Speed: Approx. 1/250 second
Aperture size: Approx. f/4.5
Lens used: Canon 50mm f/1.8 MKII
Description: This is where the mother was sitting on the eggs. Using a
50mm lens was about the minimum you would use not to scare off the bird
but that was the only lens I had at the time... |

The Baby Chicks...
Shutter Speed: Approx. 1/250
Aperture size: Approx. f/4.5
Lens used: Canon 50mm f/1.8 MKII
Description: For this shot I had to wait for the mother to leave the
nest to search for food for the chicks to take this photo. To take the
shot I had to lean over the nest and set the lens to a shutter speed of
1/250 and hoped for a fairly good aperture... |

Feeding time...
Shutter Speed:
Aperture size:
Lens used: Canon 80-200mm f/4.5-5.6 NON USM
Description: This image has been cropped even though it was taken at
the 200mm end of the lens. I just missed the mother feeding the chicks but
the final shot came out pretty good... |
