| 7/30/05 - Woo - Hoo! battle of the bands barre homecoming days! Road to Nowhere! way to go friends. we love you guys. you won. you beat us. but we still love you. even though we didn't win, we still rocked it silly, i think so anyway. and corner stone tore it up as well. it was a rockin', i mean, rocking, no, rockin' was better, day. some other band played too, can't remember their name, something about being a cry baby i think.....anyway, it was good. i actually enjoyed it. i was sporting my newest offset clothing t-shirt. buy offset, follow the link below. we need to keep this page updated better. maybe we will. we hope to record a 3 song demo at a studio by christmas. hopefully. we'll see. we'll get some pictures from todays show up on the site soon. and we'll see about getting some different songs on soundclick. until then, go download those songs, they are from a show we played back in march. all live tracks, except for an acoustic version of "sometimes" which we debuted, debuted, that is funny cuz it isn't spelled the way it sounds, debuted today. you know, i'm probably not even spelling it right. i recorded the acoustic version like 2 years ago. now we have finally put it in the line up and made it loud. the vocals are kind of sketchy still, gotta work on the flow a bit more. if you were at the show today, thanks for being there, if you are reading this, thanks for that as well. i hope you enjoy our music. come see us at myspace, and if you are on myspace, add us to your friends list, so we can all be popular. i used to think myspace was goofy, i still do, but i guess i am as well. peace out. great job Road to Nowhere, Cornerstone. rock and roll. www.myspace.com/readyornot paul p.s. come see us play on august 22nd at the universalist church in barre, 7pm. more info. |
