Sylvia
Griffin taught for 41
years in the public schools before she retired in August of 2001. She has
been part of a pool of consultants used by the U.S. Department of
Juvenile Justice. She has been listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the
World,
Who's
Who in the West, Who's Who of American Women, and Who's Who in
Education.
Her
first novel, The Little Black Schoolhouse, and its sequel, Hellside Elementary School, are in print. Her third in the series to be printed, and probably the
last, is Reading, Righting, and
Revenge. These three novels are true to the genre of
horror because they deal with the battle between good and evil, the natural
and the supernatural, and life and death. They are all completely
fictitious and are laid against the background of today's public schools only
because that is the environment Ms. Griffin understands best. If you
