| READING ROVER VISITS THE WHITE HOUSE |

| Rover, my dog, is the smartest dog yet, He sits in a chair while he surfs on the Net. I know you may not quite believe what you heard, It started way back when he read his first word. My dog used to live just an average dog's life, Scratching and sniffing, no worry or strife. Snoozing in front of a fire was a treat, And barking at cars as they came down the street. But Rover was destined to be something more Than your every day mutt lapping crumbs off the floor. Although he was not from a fancy dog breed, ROVER COULD PICK UP A PAPER AND READ!!! Yes, my dog started reading almost from the start. We thought him a genius, we thought him quite smart. He read any and all written words he could find. He desired to enlarge and expand his dog mind. But Rover had learned that life's not always fair If your paws and your tail are all covered with hair... For dogs aren't allowed to go in certain places. No matter how spotless they lick up their faces. |
