A writing contest for students in grades K-12

Submission Guidelines:
The following information must appear on the front
of the writing:
Grade Level
The following information must be on the back
of the entry:
Student's full name and school
Writing may be more than one page, but must be written on one side of the page only, as entry information will be on the back side.
The theme of the writing is Tolerance, using the Dr. Seuss book, The Sneeches, as inspiration. You may recall that this is the story of the Sneeches who had stars on their bellies who wouldn't associate with the Sneeches who had no 'stars upon thars'. Writing will be judged based upon meeting grade level appropriate writing standards, as well as creativity and relevance to the theme.
