Not sure how much the beer is as I skipped the round, as usual, I think I'm getting myroundaphobia. It looks pretty posh so it was probably expensive. Bar staff don't know much about beer though, they had to get 3 people to taste the pint to make sure it was cider before they served it. Makes me wonder just exactly what else it could have possibly been. After necking about half of it I said, "Yeh mate that's cider, can I have a Stella for me too?" what a blagger!
The only comment the aforementioned lady accomplice made was "I think this is the poshest pub I've been in since I came to Reading." I replied with, "stick with me babe you haven't lived!". It's nice, but hardly the Ritz, I hear thats good too, maybe I'll review it one day (again donations welcome!).
My friend's bird works there as a waitress so I have to say "Hello Emma" and that she's really good at her job, apparently.
