Title: The Recruit

Our Review:
John-Paul -
Good book. Took a long time to get to the action and there could've been more. Also the blurb didn't have much to do with the story. I hope the next book will have more action and will get to it quicker.

Seb - Didn't really like the book. When I read a book it needs to catch with me quickly. I didn't read the whole book but to be frank it would have got better. If you are looking for a book that is good from start to finish then this is not it.

Felix - Not a bad book. It was really good at the end. There was lots of spying which is what I like in books. I can't wait for the next one called 'Class A'. I think this book could've been better though.

Title: Private Peaceful

Our Review:
John-Paul -
Good read. One of the reasons that it is so good is that it has two 'parts' which are linked in a way that you will not understand until you have read the whole book. This story also has a lot in it including love, betrayal and loss, but  what the book is most about I think is friendship, loyalty and trust between brothers and how they stick by each other no matter what! Also lots of facts on World War 1 included.

Felix - Interesting book. This was probably onee of the best Michael Morpurgo book I've read. There was everything a story needs, with love, emotion, sadness and humour. In a lot of Michael's  books, he features it on World War 1 or 2. This one, like every other has lots of facts about World War 1 and information. My favourite book by Michael is Friend or Foe. It got very exciting and a book I couldn't out down. This one took me a while to get into, but did have it's moments. I liked it when there was a Gas alert, that was probably one of the best bits of the book. Good read for World War 1 and 2 lovers.

Title: Class A

John-Paul - A wonderful book. Like 'The Recruit' itt has action from start to finish, but this is much better than it. You will still need to read 'The Recruit' before 'Class A' to understand it properly. This one can get a but lovy dovy at times, but this is over ruled by the amazing description in the rest of the book. It is quite real and feels like it is happening right now.

Felix - Loved it! Class A is much better than TThe Recruit and it was easy to get into. It was very addictive and it took me only two days to read! This was a fantastic book and I recommend it for people who love The Alex Rider books, Young Bond and Alpha Force. I can't wait for the next one called Maximum Security.

Title: Maximum Security

John-Paul - A good book. It is a bit like The Recruit as it takes a while to get to the action but when it gets to it, it is really good. the mission too start off with seemed too go a bit too smoothly but it gets a bit rough in the end. Watch out though, it may seem a bit confusing at times if you haven't read the first two books.

Felix - A great book. I don't really know which Cherub book I prefer! Class A or Maximum Security.  I think I'll leave it to you but they are both really good. Maximum Security was well written and enjoyable - especially in the prison where most of the mission was taking place. I also enjoyed a great car chase and in some places, the storyline leaves you hanging. Like Class A, it was very addictive and took me only a few days to read. I'm really looking forward to Divine Madness coming out in April 2006. A MUST READ!

Title: The Killing

Felix - Not the pleasant of titles but still a great book. John-Paul and I are really liking these books and every one is great. Robert has explained what kids these days are like and how they get along with other people. The Killing was a bit like Class A, as the missions both had nearly the same method of tracking down the bad guys. However, this book was quite a mystery and two stories confusingly but cleverly blended together at the end. A good read though. If you haven't read any Cherub books before then what are you waiting for? C'mon!

John-Paul - Stunning! A lot like Class A but just as good if not better. This novel sparkles with adventure and crime and the itch to know what happens next is irresistible. Glowing with description, this a rollercoaster of a read probably aimed at ages 11+. The book is told with energy and imagination and you will want to keep on reading it again and again.
