Title: Raven's Gate (Power of Five)

Our Review:
John-Paul - A very good book. It was easy to picture the scene and was very imaginative. It was clever how it was set in the 21st century and that people still believed in black magic.  It was very gripping and it told you only a little bit about the 5.  I can't wait for the next one with hopefully more infomation on the 5.

Felix - Very exciting book by Anthony Horowitz. Like John-Paul said it was very gripping and at one point I just could not put it down! Anthony leaves you in a position where you have to buy the next book to answer your questions and to know more. It was also a bit too gruesome for me.

Seb - Compelling book with lots of twists and turns. Great imagination for the characters and beasts.

Final Score

John-Paul: 5 out of 5

Felix:  4 out of 5

Seb: 5 out of 5

Title: Evil Star (Power of Five)

The Power of Five: Evil Star fro

Our Review:
John-Paul -
Amazing, lots of mystery. There was a good twist at the end because it ends differently from Raven's Gate. Brilliant description, you could really see the image in your head, also, sounds like it could happen in real life.

Felix - A mind-blowing book! Defiantly worth reading. But read Raven's Gate before Evil Star. I found this book much better than Raven's Gate and thought it was a fantastic sequel. I don't really have anything bad to say about this book. Perfect, well written masterpiece! I would defiantly give it more than 5 if I could.

Title: City of Masks (Stravaganza)

Very good book. Quite subtle in that there isn't much action but it does have a lot of mystery and lot for you to think about and remember.  It always gives you a good cliff hanger at the end of each chapter. The idea of being able to travel from one world to another, known as stravagation, I think is a brilliant idea, it is also clever because the main character who is a Stravagante is made one for a purpose.

Title: City of Stars (Stravaganza)

Longer than City of Masks but just as good if not better. Also has more action than city of masks. It is also very good because it has a lot to do with city of masks and you will have needed to have read city of masks or else you will not understand all of this book. Although it did have a lot to do with City of Masks it is also very different in other ways for example in city of masks there are no horses where as this book is all about horses, just like in the other book there is also a purpose for the Stravagante who comes to Talia.

Title: Alex Rider: The Missions (Stormbreaker, Point Blanc, Skeleton Key, Eagle Strike, Scopia and Ark Angel!)

 (Covers may vary)

What can I say! These are the best books I've read and a fantastic read. Every page keeps you hanging and there is suspense, action and I enjoyed every second of it. If you haven't read all of them yet, then what are you waiting for, READ THEM! My favourite book out of all of them is Ark Angel, a space hotel, soon to lead the world into the future - but is what it seems. Alex Rider investigates... Another of my favourite is Scopia, the biggest of the sixth. Alex finds out the truth about his father and whether he really was an assassin. Great bits are trying to chase a boat, spying on a secret organisation, a weapon which is very clever and as always - great gadgets! Anthony Horowitz is writing his last Alex Rider book right now. We, after being on Blue Peter and meeting Anthony, know that is is to be called 'Snake Head'. Snake Head is actually a real triad and are dangerous. What will Alex make of them?

5 out of 5 (But would defiantly give more!)
