World Changers - Norcross, GA Support Volunteers July 24-31, 2004
When World Changers began in 1990 the goal was to change the way we approach mission education, to get students out of the classroom and into a hands-on mission experience. The focus was to change the life of the participants by giving them an opportunity to change someone else's world. That focus is still true today. Even though World Changers has become a strategic plan to eliminate substandard housing for many communities, the focus is still changing the world of the participants by giving them a hands-on mission experience.
DO YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE WORLD? just bring your students to a World Changers project and watch it happen. Who knows? Maybe your life will be changed as well.
COMMUNITY On a World Changers Community Project, students from middle school to college are exposed to an exciting blend of communtiy ministries and construction opportunities as they reachout in love to a city. Hundreds of children, youth, and adults will be touched through relationship ministries in urdan settings. Not all community projects contain construction opportunities. This multifaceted approach allows youth to serve in a variety of ways, demonstrating that they can be used by the Lord to meet many critical needs in North America. Students who have completed the sixth grade through college are eligible to participate.
The youth of First Baptist Church Duluth will be assiting as support volunteers to the participants of the World Changers - Norcross project in July of 2004.
