| Friend of Refugees Clothes Closet and After-school Tutoring Friends of Refugees is an organization that was started in Clarkston, Georgia. It was created to meet the needs of the Foreign Refugee population that the U.S. Goverment had relocated into Clarkston. The Friends of Refugees ministry provides: - Clothes that are donated at Clarkston First Baptist - After-school tutoring provided to school aged children in the surrounding community - Food Pantry and Bread minsitry to provide weekly staple foods for the community - Seasonal recreational programs for the local children This ministry has been orchestrated by God from the beginning - only He could have brought the world to Clarkston. Our desire is His Will for Clarkston and for this ministry. Here are the prayer needs of the ministry that you can implement into your week. Sunday R: Refugees-that they would begin to see, hear and understand Monday E: Energy-that we would have the health & strength for each day Tuesday F: Finacial Support-that we would turst Him for all our needs Wednesday U: Unleashing-of the power of God Thursday G: Guidance-as we continue developing the ministy His way Friday EE: Enlightening & Equipping-of the saints to do His work Saturday S: Summer Interns-that the Lord would provide the right people & resources needed fro 2004 interns As you pray, keep this in mind: "We don't just pray before we work, prayer IS the work, and then God works."
