Tuesday 9/19/00
School is in session. Belle heads back, determined to give Shawn the cold shoulder after having learned about the
bet... Philip and Chloe have eyes only for each other as they wander down the halls of Salem high... Jason and Jan
electrify when they hear, through the grapevine that the secret is out about the bet. Later, Shawn arrives and school
and tells Philip they've got big trouble... Austin runs into Greta at Salem place. She's concerned that all this talk
about the Prince's will and the pilgrimage she's supposed to take is all just a trick. In fact, she doesn't even think
that the Prince is her father. Austin wonders if she knows who is her father. Greta says her mother told her, but this
isn't something she's ready to deal with just yet. Later, Roman finds Austin and tells him he spoke with Sami. She's
fine, but doesn't want Austin coming to look for her... Lexie is pleasantly surprised when Abe admits he is thankful
to Stefano for getting them little Isaac. Abe just loves his son so much. Although he sometimes feels guilty that Bo
and Hope's baby is having so many problems. Meanwhile, Bo and Hope get off to a rocky start today. Bo refers to
baby John as "that child," which certainly doesn't make Hope very happy. He apologizes profusely, but Hope still
wonders why Bo hasn't bonded with baby John...
Wednesday 9/20/00
Brandon pulls Sami in for a hot kiss. He admits he's going to have a hard time "breaking up" with Sami for Angela's
sake. Brandon has truly enjoyed playing the role of Sami's lover and hopes that one day it will be a reality. Later,
Brandon says the next part of the plan requires Sami to befriend Angela and get her to trust Brandon. Sami says
she will, as soon as she gets back from Salem... Lucas is angry with Kate when he finds her coaxing Will to say
things into a tape recorder. Later, Kate and Lucas argue about Sami. Kate will do anything to get rid of Sami, even if
it means killing the girl. Lucas hates to hear his mother talking like this and thinks she's gone too far with this whole
thing. But we see that Kate has a cryptic plan brewing for dear Sami... Nancy gets in trouble with Marlena after an
incident with a caller. Miles and Nancy can't help but notice the plummeting ratings, but Marlena isn't about to
change the format of her show. And if Miles doesn't like it, he can find a replacement. A light bulb goes off in
Nancy's head. She could take over! Fay stops by Hattie's apartment and gives her a pep talk. Hattie wonders if
anyone has ever told Fay they loved her. Fay admits a couple men have, but when Hattie ironically brings up Abe,
Fay gets uncomfortable. She wonders if any man has told Hattie they love her. Hattie says no one has and no one
ever will. Fay tells Hattie to quit feeling sorry for herself and start to do something to change her life... Rolf tells
Stefano that if John doesn't get the chip from hope's brain, there's a good chance she'll remember that she didn't
ever sleep with Bo. Of course, hope would then want to have a paternity test, which would result in her finding out
that the baby she's raising is neither hers nor Bo's! That would be a disaster. Later, Hattie calls "Dr. Steiner" with
news... She wants to go ahead with the surgery... John stops by to see hope. He gets the feeling that Bo isn't there
for the baby as much as he should be. Hope admits Bo is thinking about going to Ireland, and she'd like it if John
were to help her with the baby. Later, John heads to the hospital where he watches doctor's performing brain
surgery. It's truly amazing how much he knows about the procedure...
Thursday 9/21/00
Chloe and Philip are a couple in love as they wander down the halls of Salem high. But Jason, Jan and Mimi are
determined to destroy that real quick. Meanwhile, Shawn and Belle agree to find a way to break the news about the
bet to Chloe... Lili says that if Greta doesn't go to Europe tonight, the will is going to be null and void. Austin comes
up with a brilliant idea, and tells Greta to pack her things and meet him at the airport... Victor calls Nicole to tell her
he got in on that merger deal he told her about. She hopes he appreciates it because other companies have
expressed interest in her. Nicole says she and victor are a lot alike. They both enjoy going in for the "kill." hearing
this word uttered from Nicole's mouth upsets Victor. Later, after Lucas is through spiking Sami's food, Victor
confronts him. Victor wants to know if Lucas told Nicole about Franco's murder...Brandon manages to convince
Sami to stay in Italy. They've got to get that tape from Angela. When they spot Angela approaching the cottage,
Brandon and Sami "break up." Sami says she is no good for him, but Angela is. This is music to Angela's ears...
Friday 9/22/00
Greta and Austin arrive at the castle where they are greeted by an eccentric older man named Charles. He goes
over the will with Greta, but we get the feeling she's still skeptical, and a bit spooked, by this whole game... Hope is
getting close to figuring out why John is so concerned about the baby. She knows that Princess Gina and John
were very close in the past. She can't help wondering if that might have something to do with it. One way or another,
she's determined to find out the truth... Hattie heads over to see "Dr. Steiner" (Rolf). She tells him she's lost a few
pounds and is eager to take over Dr. Marlena's life. But she makes Rolf pinky swear that he won't tell a soul about
the disappearance they have planned for Marlena. Later, Rolf tells Hattie that when he's through with her, the men
will be lined up around the block... John is just about to come clean to Marlena about hope's baby, but Brady
interrupts. He takes shots at both his dad and his stepmom. Brady says he doesn't feel welcome in Marlena's
house, and he knows she wants him out of there. Marlena says she doesn't want Belle to be exposed to Brady's
attitude. Brady fires back and says he can't wait to tell perfect little Belle just how imperfect her parents really are!
He then lashes into John, saying he wouldn't be surprised if Isabella didn't really die of cancer. John probably killed
her so he could be with Marlena!... Chloe spends the day at Salem place with Craig. She's truly on cloud nine.
Everything is going perfectly in her life right now. She's got great friends like Belle and Shawn, and a terrific guy,
Philip. Chloe's in such good spirits she even wants to mend fences with Nancy and Mimi! But this good mood is
short lived. Belle, Shawn, and Philip search for Chloe in hopes of finding her before anyone else can tell her the truth
about the dance. Unfortunately, though, Jan and her cronies beat them to the punch...
