Bo is at the station and calls Alice to talk to Hope. Alice tells Bo that Hope has gone to New Orleans to investigate her past. Bo tells Alice goodbye and Billie shows up with a burger and shake for him. Bo tells Billie that she should be home and relaxing. Billie tells Bo that she has an idea how they can have a new beginning. Billie asks Bo to move in with her until the baby is born. Bo is reluctant to move in because he tells her that he may be leaving town for personal reasons, but Billie knows it's because of Hope. Bo tells Billie that he wants to help Hope because Stefano is involved and he tells Billie that this is just something he has to do. Billie becomes upset, but Bo says that Hope is in danger. Billie asks Bo if he's going to New Orleans because he's worried about Hope or because he loves her. Billie tells Bo not even to answer her question because she knows the answer. Billie asks Bo if he only told her he loved her so he could sleep with her, but Bo is called out of the office to deal with a problem.
Hope calls Bo's cell phone and Billie answers, she is still waiting for Bo to return to his office. Hope asks to speak with Bo, but Billie tells her that he's not here. Billie tells Hope to leave her and Bo alone, and then she hangs up. Bo returns and asks Billie if someone called him. Billie tells Bo the truth and he becomes upset. Back in New Orleans, Hope realizes that she must go into the Bayou alone.
Nurse Ali and Mike are out having dinner at Chez Vous. Ali tells Mike that she was worried that he didn't like her because he never called her, but he tells her that he's just been so busy. Mike has a memory of dancing with Carrie when "How Do I Live" plays. Ali asks him if he's okay and Mike asks Ali to dance with him. At the hospital, Carrie overhears the nurses talking about Mike and Ali. Austin shows up abd asks Carrie out to Chez Vous, which she accepts it. When they go to Chez Vous, Carrie sees Mike and Ali dancing and having fun. Carrie and Austin talk with Mike and Ali for a bit before taking their seats. Carrie tells Austin that dating Ali will make Mike look better to the board members, but she is obviously disturbed by them dating. Austin invites Mike and Ali to join them for desert. Suddenly a reporter shows up and tells Mike and Carrie that he'd like to speak to them about something because he's leaving town immediately. Mike tells the man that he and Ali can handle this and they leave. Carrie is hurt that Mike tells Carrie he doesn't need her for the interview. Carrie is so bothered by it that she asks Austin to take her home.
At Vivian's place, Stefano is upset that Vivian is living in his house. Kate recognizes Vivian's place and thinks it is familiar to her. Kate has a flashback of coming to a similar place whole working as a hooker. Stefano questions Vivian about her late husband, but dinner is served before she can tell Stefano anything. Vivian starts bragging to everyone about her infinite wealth. Stefano asks once again about her dead husband. Vivian tells them that it was a whirlwind courtship and she knows that he is watching over her. Stefano tells himself that everything here is his and he won't give it up. When Vivian tells them that she gave Edmund and Susan a Monete as a wedding present, Stefano chokes on his drink. Vivian offers Celeste a job, but Celeste says she'll have to think about it. Stefano warns Celeste that she is still his employee because nobody ever leaves his employment. Lexie asks Stefano that he seems quiet and asks if something is wrong. Stefano tells her that he just has some business problems. While they are talking, Abe and Roman realize how close Lexie is getting to Stefano. Later, Stefano questions Vivian about a will. Vivian tells him that she has a will and she shows Stefano a copy of it in which Jonsey left her everything. Stefano announces that he must leave for the evening, so he and Kate leave. Kate asks Stefano if he knew Vivian's husband, but he denies it. Kate tells Stefano that the only thing Vivian wants is his 49% share of Titan.
Kate goes home and Roman stops by to see her. Roman asks Kate to help him bring down Stefano, but she tells him no way and slams the door in his face.
Stefano goes home and is furious that Vivian has sold and given away his art. Stefano says that he must get his things back and then comes up with an idea.
Roman and Abe are in Salem Place conversing about Vivian's strange dinner party. They both don't understand why Vivian invited either of them. Abe asks Roman if he regrets backing off of Marlena and Roman says he doesn't because he knows Marlena would have picked John.
Stefano is also in Salem Place with Bart and he's furious that everything he bought has been left to Jonsey's widow. Stefano asks Bart to leave him alone and he tells himself that he has some surprises for Vivian.
Bo longs to go help Hope, yet he also has to be here for Billie and the baby. Bo calls the doctor to here about the results, but the doctor says they won't be in for a day or two. Bo decides to go to New Orleans and be back in time to hear the results.
Kate is at her house and is still wondering about the townhouse. Billie comes downstairs and asks her mom to tell her everything about Vivian's party. Kate wants to hear how her night with Bo went first. Billie tells her mom that it was wonderful until Hope called. Billie asks her mom about the party and Kate tells Billie how Vivian was flaunting her new found wealth. Kate asks Billie about what happened with Bo and Billie tells her mom they fought about Hope. Kate asks Billie why Hope called and Billie says it was probably about her trip to New Orleans. Kate says that she should use Hope's trip to hold onto Bo now that Hope is gone, possibly for weeks. Bo shows up and tells Kate that she'd love that. They all start fighting and Kate leaves so Bo and Billie can talk. Bo tells Billie that he's called the doctor about the amnio and that they won't get the results for a day or two. Billie thanks Bo for being here for her, but she senses something is wrong. Bo tells Billie that he's going to New Orleans for the day to help Hope. Billie gets angry and Bo says that there is nothing they can do until the results come in. Billie realizes there is nothing she can say to stop Bo, so she tells him to just go.
Bo goes to see Roman and tells him that he's going down to New Orleans for the day and he'd like him to watch Billie for him. Roman is angry with Bo because he should put Billie over Hope. Bo says he'll only be gone for the day, so Roman agrees.
Kate goes out to Salem Place and runs into Stefano. The two begin talking about Vivian and Jonsey and the two are spotted by Roman and Abe. Stefano tells Kate he has some new ideas and Kate tells him they can discuss it at the office later on. Roman confronts Kate and she tells Roman that she wants nothing to do with the war Stefano has with the Bradys. Kate walks off and meets with an associate named Harold.
At the Townhouse, Ivan serves breakfast and Vivian believes she's made a great impression with Stefano. Vivian tells Ivan that she's going to help Stefano get the respect in this town that he wants. Ivan asks Vivian if she's thinking about bedding Stefano and Vivian tells him she's not thinking about it, she's planning it. Later, Vivian becomes curious about the basement and tries to open the door. Suddenly Stefano shows up and Vivian begins to flirt with him. Vivian shows Vivian some of her treasures and she tells him that she's thinking of auctioning off some of these. Stefano tells her not to do that without consulting him first because he'd like first crack at some of them. Stefano asks Vivian if she's knows what is in the basement, but Vivian says she hasn't been down there yet. Stefano asks Vivian to let him know if she gets down there because he's curious as well. Stefano tells Vivian he must go, but he will call her. Vivian goes back to work on getting through the security code to the basement.
In New Orleans, Hope has a terrible dream of someone forcing her to look at herself in a mirror. Hope decides to go to Bayou Dugar and decides to do it without calling Bo. Hope drives a car to the Bayou and ends up at a gas station to ask for some directions and get gas. Suddenly a dog jumps up onto the door of Hope's car and begins barking at her. A man shows up and pulls the dog off and he seems to recognize Hope. Hope asks him if he knows her, but he says no. Hope shows him the picture of her 7 years ago and the man says that she could never have looked like this. Hope asks the man if he knows where the river meets the forked tree and he tells her no, but he suggests she go home NOW. Hope refuses and continues with her search. Hope starts trekking through the Bayou and is knocked out by someone.
In Salem Place, Kate talks to Harold about how she fell in love with Victor, but Victor most likely won't recover from his stroke. Harold asks her how he can help her and Kate talks to Harold about Vivian's townhouse. Harold tells Kate that he owned the townhouse, but he lost it to Stefano DiMera. Kate asks Harold if Stefano still owns it and Harold says that he does.
Nicole is at home and is waiting for Sami to call her about the photo shoot. Nicole's landlord knocks on Nicole's door for the rent and Nicole surprises him when she's able to pay the rent. The landlord takes the check and gives Nicole her mail. Nicole looks through her mail and when she sees a certain letter she says she has to get out of this dump before anyone can find her. Nicole calls to speak to Sami, but she's busy and can't talk.
Franco goes in to see Sami at Titan and tells her, in Italian, that she's breath taking. As Franco and Sami kiss, Eric shows up and sees them. Franco leaves and Eric slams Sami for making out in her office and then he warns her to watch herself with Franco. Sami feels insulted, but Eric says he just wants her to becareful. Eric wonders if she's using Franco to get Austin; but Sami says she's moved on and Franco makes her feel special, attractive, and desirable. Sami goes to the photo lab to look though some shoots for other new faces.
Meanwhile, Franco makes a call to the florist and asks them to send Sami some flowers. Franco calls an old friend and tells her how he can't wait to see her and hold her again. Suddenly Eric shows up and he ask Franco what he thinks he's doing. Franco tells Eric that he was talking to a woman he grew up with and considers a sister. Eric leaves and Franco gets another call, which he takes in Italian. Later, Franco grabs a man named Roberto and they start yelling at each other in Italian.
Nicole bumps into Sami in Salem Place and they talk about the men in their lives. Sami also points out that she doesn't know if there will be a next photo shoot or not. Lucas calls Sami and Nicole overhears that Sami has to make a decision about which model to use for a photo shoot in Miami. Later, Sami spots Kate with Harold and wonders if he is one of her old clients, which he is. Kate then realizes that Vivian's late husband was involved with Stefano and doesn't even know it. However, Kate realizes that having a secret about Stefano can be dangerous as well.
Nicole goes to Titan and Eric is there. Nicole tells Eric that she fears that Sami is going to fire her. Nicole says that it's her own fault because she doesn't know how to play office politics. Nicole tells Eric that she is thinking about getting an agency to promote her for the Miami shoot, but Eric tells her that he can talk to Sami for her.
At the hotel in New Orleans, John has become mesmerized by a picture of Maison Blanche. Marlena has to knock him out of his trance by yelling at him. John tell Marlena that he had a memory of being a priest at Maison Blanche, but he wants to know what happened to him after being held prisoner. John tells Marlena that he wants to forget about the past right now and celebrate their future, so they go sight seeing.
Bo arrives at the hotel looking for New Orleans and learns that Hope isn't in her room. Bo asks the man at the front desk where Hope could be. Bo learns that Hope rented a car and took off with a map of Louisiana. Marlena and John run into Bo in the hotel lobby and Bo tells them that Hope is here as well.
Hope is in the Bayou and is passed out cold on the ground. Hope eventually wakes up and wonders who could have thrown a rock at her. Hope hears someone and Wayne, the man from the gas, station shows up and once again warns her she should have left, and now he has to teach her a lesson. Hope tells Wayne that all she wants to do is remember what happens and she believes she lived her. Wayne tells her that there is no one out here and he'd remember her. Hope asks Wayne if he through the rock at her and he just tells her to go home. Hope leaves and Wayne puts out some groceries and makes a hollering sound. Hope starts walking around and wondering about the Bayou. Earl shows up and Wayne tells him about Hope and how she claimed she was the burnt girl. Earl says that can't be because there could only be one. Meanwhile, a woman finds the food Wayne left out and begins eating.
Hope returns to the hotel and is greeted by a worried Bo.
Vivian is in Salem Place and is checking to make sure all her treasures are insured against, which they are. Back at the house, Bart tells Stefano that Vivian hasn't gotten into the basement. Vivian calls her townhouse and Bart tells Vivian that it will be a few hours before anyone can return to the house.
Sami is walking around Salem Place in a daze thinking about Franco. Sami runs into Vivian and she tells Vivian how sorry she is that her house is full of toxic gas. Sami attempts to learn about Stefano's plans, but Vivian tells Sami that she'll take care of Stefano. Sami and Vivian talk woman to woman about their love lives. Sami asks Vivian how one knows when they find the right man and Vivian says it's in the way the man treats you. Sami says that Franco treats her well, but she still loves Austin and always will. Vivian tells Sami she's wasting her time and she should give Franco a try. However, Sami says that she doesn't know if she can trust Franco. Vivian talks to Sami about her situation and she tells Sami never let a man pressure you into doing something that your not ready for. Sami leaves and Vivian calls her house again. Vivian learns from Bart that she won't be able to return home until the morning.
Franco is wrestling with his old enemy, Roberto. They are yelling in Italian, but the show is subtitled! Roberto was behind the fake greencard scheme and he tells Franco that he had to turn in all his clients or he would have spent the rest of his life in jail. Roberto also tells Franco that he hoped his boss could have helped him get a real greencard by now. As they fight, one of them drops an engagement ring box. Franco picks it up and says this is the only thing that can save his life and Roberto's neck. Franco drags Roberto off so they can talk. Franco and Roberto go to the Java Cafe and Franco says it would be dangerous for him to return to Italy. As Franco tells Roberto that the only way he can stay in the States is to get married, Sami is standing behind him and says "Franco?"
Billie gets a call from the hospital and learns the test results are back. Billie asks for the results anyways and she starts crying. Roman shows up and asks her why she's crying. Billie hugs Roman and tells Roman that she just got her amnio back and everything is fine. Roman congratulates her and suddenly Billie feels the baby move. Bille grabs Roman's hand so he can feel the baby and Roman remembers feeling Eric and Sami growing inside of Marlena. Roman pours Billie some ginger ale and Billie starts saying how she and Bo can pick out names, buy cloths, paint the nursery. However, Billie realizes that those were only dreams. Roman tells Billie not to give up on Bo, but Billie knows that Bo only loves Hope. Shane calls Roman and tells him that he needs to meet with a new ISA rep to brief him on the Paris case. Billie tells Roman that he can't run away from his feelings, plus she won't be there to help him this time. Roman tells her that is true, he will not have Billie becoming a spy again. Billie has a really short flashback of the case in Paris and she tells Roman that she still has a copy of a disk from Paris. Roman asks Billie to get it and when she's out of the room, Roman says if that disk fell into the wrong hands then all hell would break loose. Billie returns and gives the disk to Roman. Roman and Billie have another flashback, this time Billie gave Roman a jar of cold cream with a removable bottom for smuggling. Roman tells Billie that his meeting is in New Orleans and Billie tells Roman to bring her with him. Billie wants to tell Bo the good news and she wants to help him brief the new ISA agent on the Paris case. Roman refuses, but Billie won't take no for and answer. Roman eventually agrees and Billie screams, and I do mean screams, with joy. Billie tells Roman despite the danger in Paris, a lot of good came out of their relationship.
In New Orleans, Bo asks Marlena to look at the bump on Hope's head. Marlena asks Hope if she's dizzy or has blurred vision, but Hope says she's find. John and Marlena leave to get some ice and Marlena tells John that Hope took a blow to her head. Hope asks Bo why he is hear and Bo says he was concerned. Hope tells Bo that she doesn't want him here and tells him to leave. Bo tells Hope that Billie knows he is here and that the results for the amnio won't be coming back for a day or two. Hope shows Bo, John, and Marlena the picture of herself and fills them in on what she knows so far about her surgeries and the Bayou. Hope tells them that she has to go back to the Bayou and Bo insists she not go on her own. John and Marlena agree with Bo and Hope allows Bo to go back with her. After Bo and Hope leave, John can't help but feel his past is tied in with Hope's somehow.
Back in the swamp, Wayne and Earl wonder how they can protect the Swamp Girl if that woman comes back. They put some more food out for Swamp Girl, who is watching from behind a tree. Later, Wayne and Earl agree not to ever let anyone know the secret of this Bayou.
Eric talks with Marlena on the phone. Eric is upset and Nicole comforts Eric, who has finally realized that his parents won't be getting back together. Nicole tells Eric that he has two parents who love him, so he should be happy. Eric senses sadness in Nicole's voice and he asks if there is anything he can do. Nicole tells Eric that she's just afraid of screwing up the shoot.
Eric goes to see Sami and he tries to talk about Marlena, but Sami says that now that there mom is with John their is no chance for the two of them have a relationship. Eric asks Sami if she's going to go through life with a mom and Sami says she's found a surrogate mom in Vivian. Eric points out that she works for Kate and making friends with Vivian isn't a good idea. Sami switches the topic to the Miami shoot and Sami allows Eric to shoot it. Eric tells Sami he'll do great, as long as it's Nicole he's shooting. When Sami says there are other models to shoot, Eric threatens to quit. Sami agrees and tells him that he and Nicole can go to Miami.
Back at the photo shoot room, Nicole looks at a letter and says that she came to Salem to get away from her past. Eric returns and he tells her that they are going to Miami. Nicole hugs Eric and comes close to kissing him.
Bart calls Stefano and tells him that he's arranged for Vivian to be out all day and Stefano tells Bart to clean the basement out. Stefano laughs and says now he can plan his future and the consequences for his fellow Salemites.
Kate is preparing for her meeting with Stefano at Titan. Stefano shows up and he tells her that she's done an excellent job with Titan. Stefano tells her that she's come a long way since they first met and Kate tells him that she doesn't want to talk about their past. Kate offers once again to buy Stefano out and she warns him that she will not be ousted easily. Stefano tells Kate that he has no desire to buy her out, but he also has no intention of selling his shares. Kate asks Stefano what it is that he wants and Stefano tells her you! Kate is shocked and Stefano says that he needs her help to make him look like a pillar in the community. Kate tells Stefano that she refuses to be a part of anything evil and he assures her that he's closed that chapter of his life. Kate says if that's so, why did he act like he had never seen Vivian's place when in reality he owns it. Before Stefano can answer Kate's questions about the house, Stefano gets a phone call. Stefano leaves and Kate is happy that she managed to strike one of Stefano's nerves. Sami comes in to see Kate later on in order to get her Miami shoot approved. Kate says she has decided she doesn't have to approve the shoot and she has decided to fire her. Sami laughs and tells Kate that she saw him with an ex-client in Salem Place today. Stefano returns and tells Sami that she will show Kate respect or answer to him.
On the plane, Billie calls New Orleans and learns that Bo and Hope have rented a car and driven off for the day. Roman tells Billie not to jump to any conclusions yet. Roman and Billie arrive at the hotel and Billie says her baby is kicking hard. The new ISA chief shows up to meet Roman and he introduces him to Billie. Billie and Roman brief the man on the Paris case. When Billie says she has all the information on a computer disk, the man says "my God, what have you done!" The man is angry that Billie had a disk for a whole year and that Roman to pull Billie into this case is against policy. Roman sticks up for Billie and says the information on this disk is crucial to this case. Roman explains how he and Billie posed as an American couple looking to trade on the blackmarket. Roman and Billie have a fake flashback of being at the Opera and putting on a front with the Count and Countess, who they hope to buy some stolen paintings from. Roman flirts with Billie and tells her how beautiful and sexy she is, and he's not just saying that as part of the job. The ISA chief thanks Roman and Billie for briefing him on the case. The new chief offers Roman the chance to complete the case and Roman tells the man that he'll have to think about it. The man leaves and Roman takes Billie out to dinner.
Bo and Hope are driving out to the Bayou. Bo asks Hope if there is a chance for them, but Hope tells Bo not to do this. Bo says they've always worked through problems, but Hope says it's different this time. Hope tells Bo to drop it or she won't let him help her. Meanwhile, Wayne and Earl are cruisin the swamp with a gun, worrying about Hope. Back in the car, Bo is trying to tell Hope how he always pictured them raising their son together. As he talks on and on, Hope yells at Bo to STOP! Bo says she doesn't have to yell at him, but Hope says this is the station she stopped at before. Hope and Bo start exploring and Wayne and Earl decide to take care of them once and for all, before they find Swamp Girl. As Bo and Hope explore the swamp they are followed by the mysterious Swamp Girl. Suddenly, Bo and Hope are attacked by Wayne and Earl.
