Best know as the author of material such as Trout Fishing In America, A Confederate General from Big Sur and In Watermelon Sugar, "Listening To Richard Brautigan" featured the novelist/poet reading excerpts from 11 of his works (the 12th, "Love Poem" was read by other people). Never having read any of Brautigan's stuff, we'll withhold all editorial comment. As a piece of added trivia, in the States the LP was originally scheduled to be released on Apple's experimental Zapple label. Instead it was released on Frank Zappa's Warner Brothers affiliated Straight label. This is a UK pressing. (By the way, we bought our copy based on the fact it was released by Harvest (always a good label for the odd) and the fact Brautigan (guess that's him on the cover), looked like comedian Martin Mull.
