| WHAT IS RDR? Rho Delta Rho is a brotherhood organization aimed in promoting young men & women to socialize & interact with one another & instill in them the value of loyalty & brotherhood. It is founded in 1990 by young men & women who wanted to revolutionize the community & gather the elite people to form a new system of organization. Rho Delta Rho is not Fraternity nor a Gang. It is something in between, & better yet, the best of both worlds. Unlike the Fraternity system, RDR offers its members the freedom of choice. The freedom to choose his/her company & circle of friends & the freedom to express his/herself with pride & endeavour & the freedom to do what they believe in, unlike the fraternity system where often times feedom & loyalty are enforced. RDR is not bounded by rules rather by a mutual bond between members that respect & loyalty is earned. Unlike the common street gangs, RDR aims to socialize with people, not to commune with violence & use brute force as a show-off. Instead, RDR exercises the virtue of the Triskelion Philosophy where we believe in the power of reason. RDR only submits to violence if only to preserve its existence. RDR is an 'elitist' organization aimed in gathering young men & women from the middle class to the upper, to form an elite class of people uniting in the spirit of brotherhood. Being part of RDR is being part of a large family. A family where one can express freely him/herself and reach out with his/her brothers & sisters without constraints. We are an organization where the young & the old can commune with each other without discrimination. And best of all, RDR is the only organization where the hip-hop & rock/metal genre can mingle with each other freely. Being a 'rhodelta' means having fun... & live life to the extreme... Rho Delta Rho is named primarily after the initials of the three founding fathers. But as the 21st century opens, RDR devised a creed where 'RDR' has a true meaning. We adopted the verse "Recre Defendo Regno", meaning "Rise, Defend, Rule", hence, RDR. The creed simply tells that Rho Delta Rho has the might to RISE from oppression... DEFEND its name & vision... & RULE over all. |
