| Rho Delta Rho A brief history The organization was founded on September 22, 1990 in Anapolis, Greenhills by the founding fathers Roy Thomas Alberto, Dennis Yulo & Randy Sese. From the initials of Roy, Dennis & Randy came out the Greek words 'Rho', 'Delta' & 'Rho', hence, naming the group 'Rho Delta Rho. The official logo was created by Roy Thomas Alberto & the handcalsp was designed by Randy Sese, Dennis Yulo, Roy Alberto & Jason Gonzales. After forming the Organization, they immediately recruited a number of colleagues to support them. One of the very first members of RDR were Angelo Roces, Jojo Munoz & Joel Baranda... One of the very first 'sis' were Jacqueline Evans & Beth 'Darling'. They've gained support from the Gunners. Before the end of the year, they reached the first 100 members consisting mostly of their 'barkada' which by now, they are whom we recognize as 'Senyores'. Because from the start, RDR is truly about 'barkada', about havinf fun & being one with your brothers & sisters through think & thin. After the first 100 Rho members, the standard '3 is to 1' jump-in was implemented which until now is practiced. GREENLANES became the very first chapter of RDR, & in it was where the might & power of RDR was first displayed. In 1991, it was decided to move the main chapter from Greenlanes to Robinson's Galleria. Since then, Galleria became the seat of power of RDR & has remained supremem & unconquered by any other fraternity or gang up to the present time. Leading the entire organization & its sole bastion is the National Council, which was formed in 1990. The council is consisted of 5 councilors & they serve as the mind, the might & the law of the entire organization. The vary first Council members were Angelo Roces, Jojo Munoz, Joel Baranda, Pat Garcia & John Edles... all are Gunners. After Greenlanes, numeorus chapters were formed across Metro Manila. Almost all prestigous schools, colleges & universities has now been occupied by underground RDR chapters. In the outskirts of the urban cities of Quezon City, Manila, Makati & Pasig, RDR chapters are stationed all over gimmick spots & party grounds. In 1994, RDR merges with "NOMORE" (National Organization for Moral Regeneration),, a Government-Funded Anti-Drug Organization founded by Capt. Virgilio M. Bacosa. |
