The time is 9 pm. The sky is almost pitch black although light can be seen on the horizon as the Sun sets to the south. Besides the light on the horizon, there are the street lamps. They begin to flicker on like a candle being lit by a match. Trees are standing tall outside their houses like bouncers. At the bottom of the avenue you can see a racoon running across the street, it runs down an alley way and over a fence, probably going into somebody's garbage.

A light breeze gusts down the avenue, knocking the leaves on the trees. The gust, while not a strong one, knocks the petals off the Old Blossom tree, who's trunk stands to attention like a Buckingham Palace guard. The houses down the street are made of strong wooden decking. Lights glare from a random few windows.

A cat knocks a bottle that is standing on a brick wall outside a house, the bottle drops like the meteor in Armageddon and shatters into a thousand pieces. The noise causes the cat to scamper over a wall. A few people in their homes open their curtains to inspect what the noise was. They look for a mere few seconds before forcefully shutting the curtains again.

The ground is mostly dry but has damp patches covering a certain few spaces, which gives you the impression that it had rained a few hours before, but the water was dried due to the warm weather. The sky is clear and many bright stars can be seen.

From a house at the top of the avenue, music can be heard. To be precise, it is Aretha Franklin's R-E-S-P-E-C-T, which gives the impression that there is a party. The house is the largest on the street and has white painted wood. There is a blue light coming from one of the windows, as if there is a Disc Jockey and a light system in there. People are there singing aloud to the music. Suddenly it stops. Someone staggers out of the house, and lights a cigarette. The people are now heard to be laughing, then the music starts again, this time to the rhythm of another Soul Diva, Tina Turner and the hit Simply The Best. Outside the house are posters and balloons. The posters say 'Happy 40th Birthday Sam'. The balloons are in green and blue. The smoker finishes her cigarette and walks back into the house. She closes the door behind her.

The view then changes to the corner near the house which shows a man walking towards the street. He has a bag in his hand and is whistling. The man is wearing a blue shirt and a pair of Wrangler Jeans. He is wearing a pair of black shoes, that are polished and shine in the light of the street lamp. He looks at his watch and then looks up. He smiles as along walks another man with another carrier bag. He is wearing a black armani suit and black pants with black and silver trim sunglasses. He has a brown goatee beard. He is a tall man with a medium build. As he steps into the light we immediately recognise him.

'Welcome Slash' says the first man, 'Little late aren't you?'

Slash looks at him with one eyebrow raised. 'I noticed you were too. I saw you walking just a few yards in front. Don't give me all that late hoopla Rivera!' he exclaims.

'Was that that you?' enquires Rivera, 'I thought it was a bloody raccoon! I walked out the back door just a couple of minutes ago and one was nibbling with its great hairy teeth into my garbage. Filthy bastards.'

'As great as that story is, I don't look a bit like a raccoon. Anyway, back to the point. You know what we have to do?' asks Tannon, who we now realize it is.

'Yea, but all this gate crashing of parties its so 1985, why don't we just have our own parties and invite our own people?' Rivera queries.

'Because' answers Tannon, 'we don't know that many people in Missouri. Who will we invite? Raccoons? I don't think so. Sometimes I think I'm the only intelligent Canadian in the world.'

The two men walk towards the large house. Tannon knocks on the door. A man opens it, he is wearing a party hat. He is smiling, but as he faces the two men, his expression changes to one of curiosity.

'Who are you?' asks the inquisitive party guest.

'We met this fellow up at the bar, his name was Jimmy, and he said it was ok. We brought drinks and everything!' Replies Tannon.

'Jimmy said it was ok?' said the party guest. 'what state was he in?'

'well he was a bit pissed you know' answers Tannon.

'Oh well yeah that's Jimmy, come on in'.

The guest walks in and tells Tannon and Rivera to walk in. Tannon walks in first, and then turns towards Rivera.

'I told you there is always a Jimmy at a Party'.

Rivera just smiles and shakes his head as the two men walk in. The screen fades back to normal viewing.
