[We come upon a bleak, sparse, wooden room. The room is nothing of spectacular proportions, but it suits its purpose. In one corner lies a punching bag, one used to train the Cardiovascular Endurance. Set around the room is also a variety of weight, and other machines used for training. Slash sits silently against the wooden wall, silently staring, looking, glaring. He stands their in a pair of blue shorts, and a Gray muscle shirt. He is wearing a pair of Oakley sun glasses, which seem to hide all emotion he has. His hat is turned backwards.]

[Slash reaches into his pocket and grabs an hourglass, which sits steadily on the tabel he places it on. The lights above him flicker, and begin to buzz. He interupts this buzz with his voice.]

Slash: So we glare full-circle at what is to come, and what is to be. You stand here with your cameras glancing at the place I trained for the chance of being a member of Sin Wrestling. I haven't been here in months. But now...when I have my chance to once again regain what should still be mine...I must take out everything in me...Including history.

Sometimes I think Ive been training for it all of my life. This is the big event, the one its historic. I say this, yet people have questioned my actions of lateits so important Slash, why arent you training harder? slash, why dont you devote more time in a war of words with Phantasy, Chambers and Legend? Slash, shouldnt your promos be devoted to the match in question and not some spurious tangent? Fools.

This past week, I didnt show my face until Impulse...why? Because during this week I studied three things, three things that someone of my stature should already maintain. But...not all of us maintain it properly.

Dedication

Heart

Respect.

Dedication. Do you want to know what dedication is? It's spending this past Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the forest, just to check out how real survivors live. Dedication is doing everything in your power, everything in your heart, just so you can achieve your dreams.

[Slash walks over to a bench press machine. He smirks. He has three sets of place set up.]

Dedication is pounding 325 lbs up in the air, 12 times, for 12 reps. Dedication is building yourself up to your max, just so you can fucking relate to what your doing.

Do you want to know what dedication is?

Dedication is me. Dedication is not being afraid to look at yourself after your match, and telling yourself what you did wrong. Dedication is being able to find everything you did wrong, and relate it to one thing.

Dedication is everything.

When's the last time you care about something so much that it made you cry? When's the last time that something meant so much to you that you smiled? When's the last time something was so amazing, so perfect, so good for you, and you knew...you would never be able to let it go. That's heart.

How do I know that I have heart? Because I have bled, sweat, and cried for Sin Wrestling.

Many rings have had my blood poured on it, because I am not afraid to pull out anything just to take it all in. I don't think anybody realizes that when we're walking down that ramp...heairng the fans chant our names, as my pA music blasts, that inside we're the happiest men alive. I am so lucky to be in this buisness, in this federation. And my blood, being shed...is the least of my grattitude.

[Slash wipes a bead of sweat off his chin, he holds it their.]

Sweat...It's not just a liquid substance, it's proof of work and effort. It's proof that I went out into that ring, and busted my ass off, just to accomplish everything. It's love, it's heart, it's pain, it's sorrow.

And I've cried.

Simply because this business means every damn thing to me. Because winning that title was amazing, and losing it, was just another lesson.

[Slash sits down, looking at the camera. Taking off his glasses, taking off his hat.]

I woke up on the roadside, daydreamin' 'bout the way things sometimes are. I realized that it was gravity which pulled me down and destiny which broke us apart. That title, was everything. And then it ended. Then everything was a little upside down, as a matter of fact the wheels stopped. What's good was bad, what's bad was good, I found out when I roach the top.

I was on the bottom. So...now's my chance to do things differently.

I ran into the fortune teller, who said beware of lightning that might strike twice. So I thought....Losing Sunday...would be like losing the title...And lightning certainly would strike twice.

Bob Dylan, 'Idiot Wind...1974.' ----> 'You didn't know it, you didn't think it could be done, in the final end he won the wars After losin' every battle.'

Respect...

Respects everything I'm about.

And I hope you respect me being the champion again.

Are You Ready? For TOTAL IMPACT!!!
