TIME DEPRIVED

If he only had one minute to ask what he could

Things would have been different, maybe even should

But time has moved on leaving shadows of life

No where left to linger all emotions left in strife

If the driver would have waited or peered to the right

The car would have wavered and spared him his life

Time was not given to minor details like so

Now the driver was gone he must reap what he sowed

If the gentleman of stock and business affairs

Had decided to sell in spite of the stares

His wealth would have remained and love not lost

His fortune was gone losing all at what cost

Sin city is the dwelling for all who tend to wage

Their life earnings on monetary in the rear of a cage

If they waited for a breath to pull the handle once more

They might’ve won the condo or better yet money galore

Time is the notion that screams out to the land

If not tended to standards could get out of hand

Who could have imagined that such errors could occur

Where time was of the essence which none could procure

The water flows smoothly as time passes on

Filling lakes and streams that will soon be gone

A sequence of events is a virtue untold

No matter what you conjure lies a new road

If he only had one minute to ask what he could

Things would have been different, maybe even should

Time has transcended all accept their fate

For one should not hurry if they’re already late
