FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST
I just wanted to take the time to write about an anime that I just finished watching a couple of days ago by the name of Fullmetal Alchemist. It is by the far the best writing in a show of any kind that I've seen in awhile. For those of you who don't know what an anime is, it's a cartoon based out of Japan most of the time, but far better in visual appearance and story wise than anything here in the states. What's great about these shows is that most of the time it seems as though their catered for adults. The themes are usually serious and compelling, but anyone can enjoy them. My reason for writing about it is because the storyline of this particular anime has everything you could hope for in a movie or book or cartoon period. It's great and I can only hope that many of you will give it a chance. The following is a website that can give you a really good synopsis of what the story entails. Any good reader would enjoy it, each episode feels as though your turning a page out of a book. I must admit at first it feels a little slow, but eventually it speeds up and never slows down again. I highly recommend it.
