The purpose of the Non Formal Schools is to teach kids who have dropped out of school ( for various reasons) so that they can take the exams for the 6th standard and be re-enrolled in the regular schools. Children who attend the non formal schools are mostly children of construction workers (a migrant population). RDI provides school uniforms, snacks, milk and fruits.
