I wanted to fly my Camera rocket and my HiFly today but it was too damn hot.
I only got to fly one rocket before my significant other & guests descided they were cooked and so we had to pack it up.
Even though I didnt get to fly my camera it was still a productive day because the one flight I got in was my level one cert.
The rocket went way up there on an H.
Im glad the wind was calm because it came down at the edge of the field.
I had a bonus delay (damn) so it was on its way down before it opened and got a little zipper.
Should be an easy fix.
But it was a safe recovery and everything held together well.
So now I'm

Level 1

certified.
Many thanks go to Eric who helped/watched me build my motor and also loaned me an igniter.

Now maybe I will fly the camera on something bigger than a G. I did build the booster with a 38mm mount in it.
Hmmm I wonder how high it would go on an I.

The next launch is on Sept 11.
I will be doing some test flights of just the altimeter before then so I will have to post the results when they come in.

Here is a picture of my level one attempt. The HiFly.
