News:
4/15/09... Meetings have been going on at Ultimate Pizza Co. regarding anything going on. Get ahold of Nick Scoma to find out when the next meeting is. Free pizza and drinks at all meetings as well.

1/22/09... There is going to be a Girvan cleanup/jam day coming up soon.
click here to see an event flyer with more information. We will be doing atleast of these park cleanup days a year. If you werent aware, rdgbmx has adopted the Cascade park in Redding off Girvan road, and in part we are now responsible for keeping it clean.

12/19/08... The myspace.com/rdgbmx blog has up-to-date information from Nick Scoma about upcoming events and fund raisers dealing with the skatepark project. stay informed and check it out

9/22/08... The Girvan Jam was this past saturday and there was a good turnout of local bike riders and parents to show support and gain awareness of whats going on with the new skatepark project.

7/12/08 ... Due to the fires the 4th of July BBQ was canceled this year, so that fundraising event didnt happen. Nick Scoma and Derrick Naretta have been talking about a jam at the Girvan jumps which are at the cascade community park, located off girvan road. Also this will probably be the future site of the skatepark since it is already designated a "bmx park."

1/28/08 ... Nick Scoma has been doing various BBQ's at cycle cross races and mountain bike evnts to help raise money. Also the new rdgbmx dvd is out and all proceeds from sales of the dvd will go back towards helping funding. Jared Salsi is beginning to screen print the first rdgbmx t-shirts and all sales from those will help with funding as well. hopefully with all the new fundraising going on we should be able to move things along faster and get a new bike friendlyskatepark sooner.

7/2/07... The Fourth of July BBQ fundraiser raised another 900 dollars. Thanks to everyone who helped out. Also if you have Old cell phones, Ink Cartridges, or old rechargeable batteries give them to Coley or Leonard because they are recycling them as a fundraiser.

5/6/07... Yesterday was the CV damboree and Nick Scoma was there with a BBQ booth set up to raise funds. I got
this e-mail about it.
