1.1 There will be 24 teams in Real Deal 2, an American League consiting of 12 AL only draft teams, and a National leauge consisting of 12 NL only draft teams, Each team will consist of 35 players, 25 major league 10 minor league.
1.2 The starting positions will be C, 1b, 2b, SS, 3b, OF, OF, OF UTL, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P with 10 bench players at any position.
1.3 The minimum amout of innings per week is 9 if you fail to meet this you will forfiet all your pitching categories.
II Draft
2.1 Each team must aquire 25 players not exceeding $200.
2.2 Draft order will be selected randomly by www.firststepconsulting.com/uff/randomstartgenerate.asp, there will be no more major league drafts after this one, this draft WILL be a snake draft.
2.3 The following are available for the major league draft:
Appear on a teams 40 man roster or are on the major league roster at the start of the draft
A player on a rehab assingment in the minoros
Any player in the minors(however there is a prospect/minor league draft, so drafting them here would be a waste)
2.4 The minor league draft will be randomly selected and will follow the major league draft this way u can fill in your weaknesses, the minor league draft will last 10 rounds, the minor leagues will cost your nothing.
III Free Agent Bidding(post draft)
3.1 The bidding starts at $1 or however much proposted, the bids last for 18 hrs if there are no overbids the player is aquired
3.2 You cannot bid on a player you cannot afford, for example you cant bid $3 if you only have $2 available

V. Player Salary and Contracts
5.1 Players salaries are determined by multiplying their draft price by the number of years you would like to sign them Example:
I draft Nomar for $9 and i want to sign him for 3 years thats $27 against my $200 cap so i will have $173 left to spend
5.2 Players salaries listed as no salary or minor leaguers brought up from your farm system will go by the following scale:
1 year $1
2 years $3
3 years $6
4 years $10
5 years $14
*this is the cost against the cap per season
*example i draft aubrey huff he is listed as no salary i sign him for 5 years thats $14 off my cap leaving me with $184
5.3 The contract requirements/limits are as follows
5 years 5 players max
4 years 5 players max
3 years 3 players max
2 years no max
1 year no max
$1 players can be signed no longer than 4 years
5.4 There will be salary trading but no more than $5 in a deal, u cannot pay a players salary for another team u may go over the $200 cap if u aquire money in a trade
5.5 Salary roll over is in effect, take the money u have left over toward your cap and divide it by 2 and thats how much u will have the next year on top of your $200 league allotment
5.6 Players CAN be put onto 2 available IL spots, if u sign a player to temporaraly fill this spot he will cost u $1, also u CAN send major league players to your minor league squad but u must continue to pay their full salary your minor league squad can never go over 10 players but it can have as few as 1
VI. Playoffs-playoffs will be played within the league and not on yahoo, the 3 divsion winners along with the WildCard game winner will make up the playoff field. the NL champ will play the AL champ for the title
