Introduction

Welcome to my Medicine IV. Medicine IV is very similar to Med III. The only major difference is the inclusion of simple investigative and management issues. Below are some of the notes for the lectures you may have had in 3rd year, 2nd semester.

Investigations and Management issues are only simple. Keep this in mind. I would suggest you re-enforce the basics and then concentrate on the obscurities. Technically, anything can be thrown at you and you are expected to handle it all. Thanks to the 5 year course change, 4th years generally are expected to: take comprehensive history, perform relevant examinations, diagnostic process, investigations & management. These lectures may or may not come up in the MCQs, so its best you use these as a reference only.

Please note: The lecture series often changes between years, so the title may have changed. Its best you download everything and as you go check if that lecture has been covered or not. The medical lists are often quite useful for overview.
