Clinical Studies
Introduction
to Clinical Studies is a one semester unit which aims to accomplish
all of your clinical examination skills. The four basic systems you should be
familiar with for your clinical exams are: Cardiovascular, Respiratory. GIT,
Nervous System (Cranial, PNS, Higher Centres & Speech). You should also be
aware of the "mini mental" exam. Rheumatology and endocrinology is
mainly for 2nd semester clinical exams. For more information about this

page. The notes offered here may vary slightly to your textbook, and
also to what your tutors prefer. From now on, you will find that there are a
million ways of doing any clinical exam, so make sure you establish your style
early and stick to it.
