Introduction |
|
Welcome to my Anatomy
page. As most of
you already know, anatomy is a very challenging subject requiring consistent
hard work throughout the semester. Second year anatomy deals mainly with the
thorax, abdomen, pelvis & perineum. Not all of the lectures on these topics
are examinable on the theory paper (technically), but always keep in mind - whatever not
appearing in the theory may appear in the practical. Feel free to use these
notes. References are within each lecture. I trust you will find these notes
very helpful. |

If you think anatomy
is not your game, then you are not the only one. Gross Anatomy is a challenging
subject indeed. Memorisation is NOT the key to success in this subject.
Visualisation & tracking combined with hard work, repetition &
dedication is the success formula. At UTAS, Gross Anatomy is made challenging
and exciting. Every clinical workshop, explorations session, lecture &
dissection lab session should be seen as an opportunity to continually revise
the material. In addition to all this, plenty of time should be allocated as
part of your personal study session. All in all, do not get downtrodden if 1
lecture takes you more than 3-4 hrs. This is common, but the bigger picture
should always be in your mind.
