| What Does Christmas Mean To You ? |
| I would like to ask a question, Of most everyone I see, "What's the meaning of Christmas?" I wonder what their response would be. Some would say it's giving, Others may say it's the food, To others, it's only Santa Clause, To some, it's only doing good. So I ask my question, What your thoughts would be? I pray it's not getting gifts, Or a pretty lighted Christmas Tree. I submit to you my brother, And my dear sister too, It's a celebration of a gift, That my God has given to you. He sent His only Son, To this sinful earth, This is why we celebrate, The miracle of His birth. His blessed mother, Mary, Delievered Him that night, In a lowly manger, Where a star shined so bright. Near the town of Bethlehem, Where the shepherds watched their sheep, A host of angels told them, Of this great marvelous feat. The angels told them not to fear, For good tidings and great joy, Was born in a stable, A Saviour, A Precious baby boy. The complete picture of the nativity, Was when the shepherds came praising, They bowed unto Christ the Saviour, For the love of God is amazing. So if you are ever asked, "What does Christmas mean to you?" I pray your answer will be, It's God love so wonderful, so amazing and true. |
