HE IS COMING

Soon my Lord is coming back,
The one who died for me.
The one who saved my sinful soul,
Cleansed and set me free.

The one who filled my soul with joy,
And gave me peace within.
The one who's always by my side,
While I'm in this world of sin.

When I stand before the one,
Who saved me by His grace.
And I hear His blessed voice,
And look upon His face.

I know my soul will sing with joy,
Sing praises to His Holy name.
I will sing the songs of love,
The song the angels sing.

I know this night will pass,
And soon the dawn will break.
Soon I will hear the trumpet sound,
And I will look upon His face.

This hope is burning within me,
And I know the time is near.
O dear friends and loved ones,
Will you meet me there?
